Home looked calm. Life was steady. But rest never fully landed. Indoors, my body stayed lightly engaged, like the place meant for recovery couldn’t quite support it.

I didn’t realize my baseline had changed until I remembered how I used to feel. What felt normal now would have once felt off — and that realization took time.
