Exposure threshold wasn’t something I crossed all at once. I felt it as a limit — the quiet moment when my body stopped compensating and let me know it had reached enough.

I didn’t become more emotional — I became more permeable. Indoors, feelings reached me faster and lingered longer, like my system had less insulation than it used to.
