Environmental load wasn’t something I noticed all at once. I felt it as a quiet strain — the sense that simply being indoors required more effort than it used to.

If something hurt, I could point to it. But what I felt indoors wasn’t pain — it was a wrongness that lived underneath words.

Cumulative exposure wasn’t something I noticed on any single day. I felt it as a shift in baseline — like my body’s “normal” quietly changed without a clear reason.

I could slow down, sit still, even relax a little — but the final release never came. Indoors, unwinding stopped short, like my body stayed partially engaged even when the day was done.

Low-level exposure didn’t feel alarming or obvious. It felt subtle — like my body was quietly responding to something small, over and over, without ever getting a full break.

The smaller the space, the louder my body felt. Indoors — especially in enclosed rooms — discomfort gathered faster, not because anything was extreme, but because my system had nowhere to disperse the load.

Chronic exposure didn’t feel dramatic or urgent. It felt repetitive — like my body was quietly dealing with the same environment over and over, without enough time to fully reset.

Nothing suddenly changed — it just accumulated. Over time, the same space asked more from my body until what once felt manageable no longer did.
