To outsiders, it sounds like an obvious solution. To someone living inside it, “just move” carries layers of loss, fear, and impossibility that rarely get acknowledged.

I didn’t set out to study EMFs. I learned about them the way most people do — because my body stopped tolerating what it once ignored.

At some point, the opinions became louder than the help. This is why I started keeping parts of my life private—not out of secrecy, but out of self-preservation.

Normal tests didn’t mean nothing was happening. They just meant my experience didn’t fit neatly into the measurements we rely on most.

Somewhere along the way, my environment became something I felt embarrassed about. This is how shame crept in quietly—and why it never actually belonged to me.

I assumed rest would make things better. Instead, symptoms became clearer the moment life got quieter — and that taught me how much my body had been holding together.

Technology didn’t suddenly feel harmful — it stopped fading into the background. What I noticed wasn’t danger, but the constant presence of stimulation my body could no longer tune out.

There were days when the symptoms were heavy—but the dismissal cut deeper. This is what I learned about how not being believed can amplify suffering in ways the illness itself never did.

EMFs didn’t become overwhelming on their own. They became overwhelming when my nervous system no longer had the capacity to filter background input the way it once did.
