When I finally allowed myself to notice, I felt pressure to leap forward immediately.
I thought attention automatically meant action.
This didn’t mean attention was dangerous — it meant I hadn’t separated noticing from deciding yet.
Why paying attention can feel like a point of no return
We often assume that once we notice something, we’re obligated to respond.
That awareness creates responsibility, urgency, and momentum.

This didn’t mean planning was harmful — it meant timing mattered.
