Why Mold Tests Aren’t Pass or Fail — Even When They Look Like Numbers

When I first received mold test results, I instinctively searched for a conclusion.
I wanted to know whether my home was safe or unsafe, whether I could relax or needed to act.
The realization came slowly: I was treating the numbers like a judgment instead of information.

After months of symptoms and unanswered questions, it made sense that I wanted a score to decide things for me.
