Nothing changed on the outside. But the instant I stepped back inside, my body shifted in a way I could feel before I could explain.

Nothing about me had changed. And yet outside my home, my body felt clearer, steadier, and more like itself in a way I couldn’t recreate indoors.

Rest was supposed to help. Instead, it made everything more noticeable. The quieter I became, the louder my body’s signals felt.
