Nothing was demanding. But moving from one small moment to the next inside my home felt heavier than it did anywhere else.

I wasn’t anxious or energized — I just couldn’t settle. The restlessness wasn’t about needing to move more. It was about my body not finding a place to land.

Nothing stressful was happening. But inside my home, small things seemed to push me closer to my limit than they ever did elsewhere.

Outside pollution looks obvious. Inside exposure doesn’t. What confused me most wasn’t how I felt — it was how invisible the cause seemed while it was happening.

Nothing big was being asked of me. But inside my home, even simple choices felt like they carried more weight than they should have.

I wasn’t anxious or on edge — I just never fully powered down. Rest felt shallow, incomplete, like my body stayed half-awake even when nothing was happening.
