Calm Guidance

When I first got my ERMI results, I doubted them. Over time, I realized that trust doesn’t arrive instantly — it grows as you observe patterns and learn what the numbers actually represent.

The contrast between indoors and outdoors was subtle at first. I didn’t feel instantly better outside — just a little less weighed down, in a way that was easy to overlook until it kept repeating.

I kept looking at other homes’ ERMI scores, thinking that would tell me if mine was “good” or “bad.” What I learned was that comparison created more anxiety than clarity — and letting go of it brought perspective.

Recovery windows were moments when I felt almost like myself again — clear, steadier, more settled — only to have that feeling fade without a clear reason.

When I first saw the ERMI species list, it felt endless and alarming. What I had to learn was that it’s simply a detailed snapshot — and understanding the context made it manageable.
