Calm Guidance

For a long time, I lumped mold and mildew together. Learning the difference didn’t create panic — it brought clarity I didn’t know I was missing.

I thought plastic was something you touched, not something you inhaled. What unsettled me was realizing how quietly it could become part of the air itself.

I wasn’t constantly upset. I just felt emotionally slower — like feelings arrived late, blurred, or dulled. It took a long time to realize that what I was breathing might be shaping how I felt things, not just how I felt physically.

I thought the smell would fade and everything would settle. What surprised me was how long my body kept reacting after the room looked “finished.”
