Calm Guidance

I didn’t want outside involvement. I wanted the issue handled quietly. But I learned that sometimes bringing in a third party isn’t escalation — it’s what creates clarity when everything else stalls.

I kept waiting for obvious breathing problems to explain the fog in my head. They never came — but the fog stayed, thick and disorienting in a way I couldn’t think my way out of.

I didn’t start out wanting legal help. I just wanted to understand where I stood — because not knowing my rights was making my body feel as unsafe as the mold itself.

I spent a long time questioning my body because I couldn’t point to a clear trigger. There was no meal to blame, no immediate reaction — just a slow, confusing sense that something wasn’t right.

After repairs were done and the dust settled, I realized the hardest decision wasn’t about mold anymore — it was about whether my body felt willing to keep living there.
