My earliest symptoms weren’t dramatic.
They were changes in tolerance, focus, sleep, and emotional steadiness.
Nothing felt alarming enough to raise flags.
This didn’t mean nothing was happening — it meant the signals were quiet.
How common explanations can miss the bigger picture
Stress explained some of it.
Anxiety explained some of it.
Hormones, burnout, or life changes explained the rest.

This didn’t mean those factors weren’t real — it meant they weren’t the whole story.
Why dismissal often happens unintentionally
Looking back, I don’t think anyone meant to dismiss what I was feeling.
The symptoms simply didn’t match what most people expect environmental illness to look like.

I allowed multiple clues to exist at the same time.
