Everything about the remediation was labeled a success. The reports were clean, the work was complete, and the house was cleared. But living inside that outcome felt very different. This is where I learned how far apart official success and lived safety can be.

The work was done. The environment was improved. And yet my symptoms stayed. This was the moment I had to separate what remediation accomplished from what my body still needed.
