Pet spaces felt comforting and familiar — the last places I thought would influence how my body felt. What surprised me was how quietly these small zones shaped the air I was breathing every day.

I wanted to stay aware without spiraling. But once attention became constant, I couldn’t tell where care ended and obsession began — and that uncertainty created almost as much strain as the sensations themselves.
